Exchange fees apply to automated transactions between AbsolutePay users and external users. These fees are applicable for various types of currency exchanges, including fiat-to-fiat, crypto-to-fiat, and fiat-to-crypto. The exchange engine operates when a user transfers funds in one currency, and the recipient opts to receive another currency or cryptocurrency, based on their bank account, wallet technology, or blockchain. Exchange rates are calculated at market prices and include fees from associated chains and protocols. Exchanges can be processed manually or automatically by the user, depending on the transaction requirements.
ATM withdrawals, POS payments, and transactions processed through various payment processors are subject to external fees. Similarly, transfers using different payment systems or platforms may also incur fees. All such service operators may have varying commission structures or rules, and may charge fees that vary by country or location. These fees are the responsibility of the client, and there may be instances where we are unable to precalculate these fees as they are levied directly by the service operator. Additionally, in certain locations, banks or ATM owners may impose limits that are independent of Biptap and are specific to the services they provide.
